Butterfly backed with Blue Ticking
Remember the linen calendars that had a rod pocket on the top with a dowel through it and a string to hang it on the back of your pantry door. I had one in the late 1970s, it is long gone now. But I found some on etsy, just the picture part, not the calendar part. I repurposed them into large lavender sachets. I love the thick nubby linen and they smell wonderful...

These are wonderful! What clever use for those great vintage towels - you clever thing :)
I do remember those calendars, have not thought of them in years. I love what you created using some vintage ones, I especially like the kitten. (I am partial to anything that has to do with animals!!). :-) I was just enjoying all the photos of your neighborhood and the absolutely gorgous blossoming and flowering trees there!! The pictures are stunning, you were really able to capture the loveliness of early spring's colors!! It must look trully beautiful in person there where you live. Thanks for sharing such great pics. ciao, Debby
Love the calendars! I have a few collected too! Aren't they fun?! Great graphics too!
Great re-use of the pretty part of the calendars. My grandmother had one on her kitchen wall for many different years.
