Remember the old feather pillows made from heavy cotton ticking - I managed to snag a few pieces a few weeks ago thinking I would use it to back some pillows. I use ticking a lot, but new ticking. Once I received it and soaked and laundered it, I knew it needed to be a pillow all by itself - I just love it! I have one on my leather sofa mixed up with barkcloth and European grainsack pillows. There is just something about ticking and chenille fabrics and the "tick-tock" of an old clock, oh, add a humming fan, and you have a setting for a nice nap!!
