Boy, you should have seen her when I found her. She had leaves and debris all entangled in her fringe, numerous spots and just overall dirty. Most folks would have just passed her by, but not me, I saw a diamond in the rough. Brought her home and gave her a good bath followed by a spin in the washer and a tumble in the dryer. Once on the bed, I finger-combed and trimmed her fringe and take a look at ner now. Too bad I did not get a before picture of this vintage Trapunto style snowy white cotton spread. She has found her spot on my bed and I am loving it! I also want to share a few more of my favorite finds of the week...

I wish I had gotten out to seek treasures in yard sales and flea markets today. It was beautiful weather for it! You found some great stuff! I especially love the bedspread, old bottles and the Longaberger basket purse!
What a wonderful job you have done on your Spread. These sorts of finds are very satisfying :)
And the finds! You HAVE done well!

You seem to know exactly how to save the fabrics when others just would toss them. I have a question, I have some very nice crocheted doilies that i made years ago. I could not get the stains out, so ibleached them. Well, the colors ran and they look yucky. What shell i do?
Also, send me a picture of your matryoshka's tag in Russian, I'll translate it for you.
