The Green Chair and More...Mid-Century Style

Do you start one project and before you finish that one start another one, and before you finish that one, start another??? Well, I do. When inspiration strikes, I change gears and go!!! In the midst of trying to finish my studio and the "old girl" chair, and trying to keep my etsy shops stocked and special orders up, I have redone another chair. It is a 1970s dining chair in sort of a Mediterranean style. I painted it avocado green and covered the seat with a vintage mid-century barkcloth in a mobile design. She turned out really funky - green is my favorite color and I have been into this shade for quite some time now. I just don't need to get carried away and buy myself an avocado green leather sofa - that would be a huge mistake. So here she is along with some other mid-century style items from one of my shops...

Vintage Georges Briard Coffee Pot Perculator

Vintage Sorbet Glasses - Smoky Brown Color

Mid-Century Tea/Coffee Set - Green Botanical Design - Fabulous Pottery

Mirimar of California Pottery - 1957

Vintage Avocado Green Bubble Glass

More Bubble Glass - Bright Teal Turquoise

Pair of Pillows - Fabulous Vintage Fabric - So Funky

Vintage Barkcloth Pillows

Vintage West Bend Thermoware Coffee Set with Creamer

All the items are listed in my MidCenturyModern shop. Mention my blog and get 10% off your total order (excluding shipping). And believe it or not, I have finished the studio, just this week. I will try and get the post up soon. Take care and thanks for popping in!

HI! LOVE the green chair. It matches your blog background perfectly! You did a lovely job on it. All the vintage items are great, but I am in love with the old perculator, since it reminds me very much of one that my mom used to have! I think I will jump on over to your shop and see all your lovelies there! have a great sunday. Debby
