The Potter and the Clay

I have never thrown a pot, but have been told, one has to use just the right amount of pressure of his or her hands and a good speed on the turning wheel to get the perfect pot. Not enough pressure and the vessel does not reach its full potential and too much pressure and the clay ends up caved in and even splattered on the wall. I am feeling like clay today, glad I am in the hands of the Master Potter!!

A lovely post :)
I hope you are feeling more in control very soon.
And take it from an old Art teacher. It takes quite a bit of experience just to get the initial lump of clay to sit where it has to on the wheel before you can even start turning!! LOL!!
Warm wishes, Irene x
