I See The Moon...

...and the moon sees me! I was up really early this morning, before the birds. Just me and the moon and it was really pretty, I tried to capture its beauty and all I see is a dot in a sea of black. Oh well, thought I would share it any way!! There is nothing like the quiet and stillness of the early morning - it was cool on the porch in my barefeet, not a sound from our puppies or anything else for that matter! My mind is more quiet in the morning too, or atleast until the caffeine hits. Hope yall have a great day!!

The poem in its entirety is all of four lines...
I see the moon
And the moon sees me;
God bless the moon
And God bless me.

I too have tried often to capture the ´moon in a pic. Once I did manage it but it was an exceptionally bright moon that night. But your pic turned out okay! Don't you just love that very early morning quiet that surrounds one? It lets your mind come to rest some how, before the hectic of the day gets started. And there is always something about a moon that attracts me. I could stand for hours just watching it move across the night time sky.Have you ever had the pleasure of seeing an eclipse of the moon? Now there is a real treat for moon lovers like us.

I'm trying to remember the rest of that great old children's poem. Do you know the words?

Love the photo! I think you did really well in capturing the elusive moon.
