Vintage China as Wall Decor

I love vintage china, it is like a special treasure when I find a special plate, lid, cup or saucer. I picked up 8 lids from compotes, servers and sugar dishes in an antique store a couple years ago, thinking I would use them as a wall grouping at the cottage. The painting on these pieces is just beautiful and I love the gold accents - very shabby chic...

These are for sale in my etsy shop - Thanks for stopping by today!!

What a great idea! I was just antiquing this week, and saw a whole bucket of mismatched lids. I wondered what someone would do with just lids...now I know!!

They are gorgeous! I'm always on the look out for small ones to top some of my pottery and glass that have lost their original lids.
